What happens to the door if the internet goes down?
Access keeps working. Each member’s validity dates are stored on the device itself, so it can allow or refuse entry on its own and syncs the scans back once the connection returns.
Do I need to update the reader when someone renews?
No. Renewing or cancelling a membership, or letting it expire, updates the reader automatically, usually within seconds, without anyone touching the device. Pausing (freezing) a membership leaves door access as it is.
